Alexandra has worked as a journalist, photographer and multimedia producer for a number of publications. In 2009 she became a multimedia contributor for SNOB, covering culture beat in New York City for this Russian language publication. From 2003 to 2007 she contributed to INTERIOR + DESIGN, a Moscow based publication for which she reported on New York’s latest trends in architecture, design and art.

In 2008 Alexandra founded SMAC, an online publication SMAC, the home of the Web TV series on contemporary art, architecture and culture. The series covered events such as Venice Art Biennial, Miami Art Basel, and Tribeca Film Festival. The videos are routinely picked up by publications ranging from Art Forum to Fast Company to Engaget. Each video is viewed on average 50,000 times. SMAC was a 2009 Webby Awards honoree.
