Responsibilities include directing, shooting, editing and creating graphic treatment for viral video campaigns and Web TV episodes for the firm’s clients including NYPD, IBM, Google, BrainJuicer, Health 2.0 Conference and Inhabitat.

CASE STUDIES

Inside the NYPD: Responsibilities include shooting and editing episodes for the official podcast of the New York City Police Department. The podcast is rated number one on iTunes in the Government and Organizations category.

IBM: Created a viral video mash-up of recent conference footage and animation created by Charles and Ray Eams for IBM in 1957.

SMAC: ScribeMedia Arts & Culture: Created Web TV series on contemporary art, architecture and culture. The series covered events such as Venice Art Biennial, Miami Art Basel, and Tribeca Film Festival. The videos are routinely picked up by publications ranging from Art Forum to Fast Company to Engaget. Each video is viewed on average 50,000 times. SMAC was a 2009 Webby Awards honoree.

Postcards from Central Asia: Shot and edited this five-part documentary on the post-Soviet urban landscapes of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Created with urban theorist Kyong Park, it premiered in 2009 at MUSAC, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Castilla y León in Spain.

Perpetual Peace Project: Co-director of documentary exploring the essay of Immanual Kant Perpetual Peace as interpreted by contemporary philosphers, sociolologists, cultural theorists, diplomats and politicians. The project will premiere at the New Museum in New York 2010.

2006

Bubble Wrap Productions, Assistant Director

Conducted research and managed production of the documentary film Russia! The Story of Art in Eleven Episodes (2006), which premiered on Russia’s Kultura Channel (ie., Russia’s equivalent of PBS).

Interior + Design Magazine, Contributor

Reported on New York’s latest trends in architecture, design and art for this leading Russian design magazine. Work incorporated architecture, interior, portrait photography and text.

Conducted research, prepared material, created mood boards for branding projects for clients ranging from American Express to jewelry design firm Ippolita.

Researched, acquired usage rights of archival images and footage, and
